To Be Free

by Graham Coe

/

about

It’s a cry for guidance, help and love to help alleviate the inner demons that can arise when a person has doubts over the path that they have taken in life and whether they are the person that they envisaged becoming. In the song Graham writes “I need to believe, I’m the person I was meant to be”It describes a yearning for financial security and stability and highlights the importance of how a chat or some kind words and guidance from someone can help a person feel better about who they are and what they are doing.

lyrics

V.1

Oh to be free, of all the doubts that trouble me
Oh I would love to have something I’m sure of

Chorus

I can feel so alone at times but you always ease my fears
When things get just a bit too much for me your words wipe away my tears

V.2

Oh to be free, of this instability
Oh I would love to have a path that I’m sure of

Chorus

I can feel so alone at times but you always ease my fears
When things get just a bit too much for me your words wipe away my tears

V.3
I am in need of some security
I need to believe I’m the person I was mean’t to be

Bridge

Bring your guidance to me, this day (Stand tall and your open arms the day)
Bring your hope and love this day (bring your strength and love this way)

Chorus

I can feel so alone at times but you always ease my fears
When things get just a bit too much for me your words wipe away my tears

Ending

Oh to be free, oh to be free
Oh to be free, oh to be free
